The harvested plant is steam-distilled — a gentle method that lifts the aromatic oil without harsh solvents — and standardized so every batch carries 80%+ carvacrol.

Carvacrol is the primary active compound naturally present in oregano oil and the reason the herb has been valued for centuries. It is also recognized for its natural antioxidant properties, which is why potency — the carvacrol percentage — is the single most useful number on any oregano oil label.

Cold-pressed black seed oil (Nigella sativa) — thymoquinone

Black seed, also called black cumin or Nigella sativa, has a long history across traditional wellness practices from the Middle East to South Asia. We use oil that is cold-pressed — extracted without heat — from seed sourced in India, to preserve its delicate compounds.

Its best-known constituent is thymoquinone, a naturally occurring antioxidant compound. Pairing it with high-carvacrol oregano oil gives WaveDrops a rounded, complementary botanical profile in one convenient dropper.
